Job Description
Cashiering: Scanning items, collecting payment, processing transactions, and providing customer service
Computer operations: Data entry, maintaining computer systems, and troubleshooting issues
Credit notes: Issuing and collecting credit notes
Cash balance: Tallying and closing the cash balance at the end of the day
POS machines: Settling POS machines and reporting discrepancies to management
Cash deposits: Submitting large denomination notes to the store manager for deposit
Petty cash: Carrying out petty cash expenses and maintaining records
Charge accounts: Maintaining charge accounts, statements, payments, and past due accounts
Clerical duties: Typing correspondence, generating reports, filing, and maintaining office records
